So what, right? NO!
The census is used to draw congressional and senatoral districts - if the demoncrats control the census, they will manipulate the numbers and create more districts that lean toward demoncrats.
They know they are on thin ice - it's an act of desperation to keep the power...
Keep it honest, demoncrats! (you'll probably have to look up the meaning of "honest")
